Using the Site

ScrewBoltChart (the “Site”) is a free web utility operated by ScrewBoltChart (“we”, “us”) and available worldwide. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You may use the tools and tables for personal, educational and commercial shop work, and print the gauges for your own use.

Please do not scrape the Site in bulk, republish its tables as your own, interfere with its operation, or tamper with or obscure its advertising.

Accuracy and safety

The data is generated from published standards and checked, but it is a reference, not a specification. On-screen measurement depends on your calibration, display and browser zoom; printed gauges depend on your printer scaling. Torque values are starting points that assume stated conditions and nut factors.

  • Verify critical dimensions with calibrated instruments and the governing standard.
  • For structural, automotive, aerospace, pressure, lifting or other safety-critical work, follow the manufacturer's data and a qualified engineer.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment when drilling, tapping and tightening.

No warranty

The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost parts, stripped threads, damaged equipment, lost profits or data, arising from your use of or reliance on the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits, and nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Content and trademarks

Dimensional values from public standards are facts, and you are free to use them. The Site's design, drawings, gauges, text, code and the ScrewBoltChart name and mark belong to us. Standard designations (ASME, ISO, DIN, SAE) and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify what the data refers to; no endorsement is implied.

Third-party services

The Site uses third parties for hosting and analytics (Cloudflare) and advertising (Google AdSense). Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. Ads are provided by third parties and are not endorsements. See our privacy policy for what this means for your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions: contact@screwboltchart.com.
